Who it's for

Yoga and Pilates practitioners, dancers working toward their splits, and anyone who wants better balance, posture and flexibility at home.

How to use it safely

  1. Set up the door. Use a sturdy, closed door that opens away from you, and lock it while you stretch.
  2. Start with an easy loop. Begin where the stretch feels gentle, then move one loop deeper over time.
  3. Never force it. A stretch should feel like a pull, never pain.

Colors

Pink, purple or silvery grey.

Questions customers ask

Will it damage my door?

The anchor is foam-padded and sits in the gap of a closed door. Close the door gently and check that it latches.

10-loop strap or Pilates strap?

The 10-loop strap gives you more grip points. The Pilates stretching strap is simpler, with an adjustable loop.

Helps with a deep stretch

I work out 2 to 3 times a week with Pilates and yoga. Anyone that works out knows how important stretching is and this gives you the perfect deep stretch. It's easy to poke on your door and use and then remove one not use. There are different handles and you can use them according to your skill level to your skill level.

Great

This rope works perfectly for stretching your arms and legs while standing. It works wonders for gaining elasticity and improving range of motion. It provides good support and anchors perfectly to any door.

Sturdy Strap, But Not a Fan of the Multiple Handles

I ordered this yoga strap primarily to help with stretching my legs. As someone on the shorter side, setting it up on the door isn't too difficult, but it's not the easiest either. I'd prefer if there were a way to keep it attached to the door frame even with the door open, so I don't have to set it up every time.Once set up, it's pretty easy to get started, and it even came with a few suggested stretching positions to try. The strap feels sturdy, and I don't have any concerns about it breaking or fraying anytime soon. That said, I'm personally not a fan of all the handles across the strap. While the handles are useful for monitoring progress and tracking imbalances (for example, yesterday I was using handle 4, and today I'm using handle 5), I find that the stitching for each handle catches slightly on the loop. It might slide more smoothly if there were just one handle on each end of the strap, and maybe different colors along the strap could be used to track progress instead.Overall, the strap is durable and effective, but the multiple handles aren't quite to my liking. It's still a solid option for stretching, but the design could be a bit more streamlined for ease of use.*Value: The current price is 19.95 which seems to be about average for an over the door leg stretcher
