Who it's for
Ballet, jazz, contemporary and lyrical dancers, plus gymnasts and figure skaters who want to practice spins off the ice or mat.
How to use it safely
- Pick the right floor. Use it on a smooth, hard floor with clear space around you, like tile, laminate or a studio floor.
- Warm up and start small. Begin with quarter and half turns, then build up to full turns once you feel steady.
- Stop when it's time. Take a break if you feel dizzy or anything hurts. Young dancers should use it with an adult nearby.

Questions parents ask
Turning disc or turning board: which should I choose?
Both help with turn practice. The disc is smaller and rounder, so it's easy to pack and lets her rise onto relevé. The Pirouette® turning board is longer and comes with a velvet carry bag.
What age is it for?
Kids and adults can both use it. Younger dancers should practice with an adult nearby and start with small turns.
How much weight does it hold?
Up to 250 lb.
Is there a version without the box?
Yes. The same turning disc without the gift box costs a little less.
