Three easy stretches to start
- Seated calf stretch. Sit with one leg straight, put the ball of your foot in the cradle and gently pull the loops toward you. Hold for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Lying hamstring stretch. Lie on your back, place your foot in the cradle and slowly raise the straight leg, walking your hands up the loops.
- Lying quad stretch. Lie on your stomach, loop the strap around your foot and gently draw your heel toward your hip.
Warm up first, ease in slowly and never bounce. A stretch should feel like a pull, never pain. If you have an injury or ongoing foot or leg pain, check with your doctor or physical therapist before you start.
