Zenmarkt® Dance Shoe Covers – Socks for Dancing on Smooth Floors & Over Sneakers

Count

Turn your sneakers into dance shoes in seconds.

Sneakers grip the floor, which makes pivots and turns feel stuck. These Zenmarkt® dance shoe covers slip over your sneakers so you can turn and glide on smooth floors while keeping the support of your own shoes.

Why dancers love them

  • Smooth turns, no sticking. Pivot and slide on wood and smooth floors without your sneakers catching.
  • Keep your own shoes. Dance in the sneakers you already trust, with the support you like.
  • Stretch on, snap back. The fabric slips over the shoe and returns to shape after every use.
  • Made to last. Durable shoe bands for dancing that hold their form over time.
  • Easy to pack. Toss a pair in your gym bag for every class.

Who they're for

Line dancing, Zumba, hip-hop, dance fitness, salsa, merengue and home workout videos. Great for kids and adults who dance in sneakers.

Choose the right floor

  1. Best on: wood floors and worn or textured surfaces.
  2. Be careful on: highly polished gym floors, where they can feel too slippery for high-impact moves.
  3. Start slow: try a few easy pivots before your first full class.

Questions dancers ask

Do dance socks over shoes really work?

Yes. They reduce the grip between your sneaker and the floor, so you can turn and slide more easily. They work best on wood and textured floors.

Are these good for line dancing?

Yes. Line dancers use them to pivot and turn in regular sneakers.

Will they be too slippery?

On very polished floors they can be. Try them on your floor with a few slow moves first.

GREAT FOR DANCING ON AN UNPOLISHED FLOOR FOR BETTER SLIDING AND GLIDING

I wanted to try these on a gym floor - but since it's so highly polished, they were a little too slippery to use for high-impact aerobics. For line-dancing or a basic dance class, they would work great. They would be great on a worn out wood floor or other textured flooring. HOPE THIS HELPS!

Work

For something to side over my shoe, it easier to turn off the carpet. I’ve been doing exercise videos. I want the support of a gym shoe, but then it becomes very hard to easily spend on a carpet. These work relatively well and allowing me to have the support oh shoot yeah is your rotation for my foot

Zen Markt socksThese solved several problems for me that I didn't know could be solved. I attend an informal dance class where I dance in sneakers, which means when I try to pivot, I can't, and when I slide forward on one foot I'm prone to stop short and so risk falling forward onto my face. These sharp-looking socks slip onto the front of my sneakers around the ball of my foot and let me pivot and slide - instantly more fun, and they stay securely in place. I hand wash them. They are a very firm weave and hold their shape. I can't tell apart the worn pair from my new, unworn pair.

Fit well, but slippery.

I got these for my daughter who goes to hip-hop classes. She was really looking forward to these. They fit over her shoes well. The quality is really nice. They stretch and go back to their original shape every time. However, they're just too slippery. My daughter didn't feel comfortable dancing with these because she said she almost fell several times with them over her shoes. I guess you could liken these to dancing on hardwood with socks on. For small kids, that can be a little problematic. These work for their intended purpose, I just don't think my daughter will get much use out of them.

Turns sneakers (or other shoes) into dancing shoes

My son LOVES to dance. But he doesn't always have the right shoes with him. These "socks" slip over the outside of his size 10 shoes and allow his feet to glide across the floor.
