Zenmarkt® Foot and Calf Stretcher Strap for Dancers, Yoga and Gymnastics

Color
Blue
Black

A better foot and calf stretch than a towel, in a strap that fits in any bag.

Dancers, runners and yogis all need flexible calves, ankles and arches. This Zenmarkt® foot and calf stretcher cradles the foot and gives you loops to hold, so you can ease into each stretch and control exactly how deep it goes.

Why customers love it

  • Cradles the foot. A shaped foot cradle holds the strap in place, so it doesn't slip off like a towel.
  • Six loops, many levels. Hold a closer loop for a gentle stretch or a farther one to go deeper.
  • Two ways to use it. Turn the cradle around to stretch the arch, calf, hamstring or quad.
  • Strong and simple. Durable nylon webbing with sturdy stitching, and nothing to set up.
  • Goes anywhere. Light enough to keep in a dance bag, gym bag or suitcase.

Three easy stretches to start

  1. Seated calf stretch. Sit with one leg straight, put the ball of your foot in the cradle and gently pull the loops toward you. Hold for 20 to 30 seconds.
  2. Lying hamstring stretch. Lie on your back, place your foot in the cradle and slowly raise the straight leg, walking your hands up the loops.
  3. Lying quad stretch. Lie on your stomach, loop the strap around your foot and gently draw your heel toward your hip.

Warm up first, ease in slowly and never bounce. A stretch should feel like a pull, never pain. If you have an injury or ongoing foot or leg pain, check with your doctor or physical therapist before you start.

Who it's for

Dancers working on pointed feet and flexible calves, runners, gymnasts, and anyone who stretches after workouts or yoga.

Colors

Blue or black.

Cheap and effective

This stretching aid works pretty good, and for the price it's a no brainer for anyone who suffers from frequent leg cramps.

Not sure what to do with it

I'm not really sure what to do with it other than pulling toes forward. I definitely can't pull my leg over my head like in the picture. I need to look up online what other things that can be done with it, since the thing itself doesn't come with a list or diagrams or anything.

A fantastic addition to any stretching-regimen! 👌🏻😊

So, I've incorporated this foot/calf-stretcher into my regular post-workout/cool-down routine. And, I must say, that I have grown to appreciate it immensely...Yes, you can simply use a towel wrapped around the bottom of your foot and get similar results in most areas, but this apparatus just makes the whole process much more stable, secure, and consistent. And, another advantage that this has over a basic towel or strap is the fact that you can use it for ankle-mobility exercises, too... which is a definite plus!Easy to use. Graduated loops for hand-holds and increasing intensity. Terrific value, too! I just wish they were sold as a pair, so that you could perform stretches on both legs concurrently. But, that's definitely not a deal breaker... Just buy two! LOL.Overall, 4.8 stars... and recommended. 👍🏻😎

Made well and easy to use

This is easy to figure out, and the stitching is strong. While I don't get as much of an arch stretch as when using a stair or platform, this strap works much better than others I've tried that had stiff bottoms. I really do prefer this one to the others. It does stretch my calfs better than anything else I've tried.
